Labor Day Project – Halloween Paper Bag Scrapbook

Labor Day weekend my husband Chris and I went to Fargo to visit three of our100_0959_5  four children, and our two granddaughters.  Last evening my daughter, Melissa, and my two granddaughters, Brianna (age 11) and Kristen (age 9), worked on a scrapbook project together.  It was the first time the four of us have done scrapbooking together.

We didn’t use much Stampin’ Up! supplies; we used pretty much what Missy had  on hand.  My book isn’t completely finished; I still want to add pictures for this Halloween, but the subject is, of course, my granddaughters!

Saturday Kristen and I painted the bags with purple, green, and orange Making100_0958_2  Memories paint.  We let them dry overnight.

We used three paper bags (lunch bag size), and alternated the bottoms from left to right.  We used the Crop-a-Dile to punch holes for our bindings, and used ribbon to attach the bags.  Then we began embellishing our bags with scrapbook paper and cardstock, and lots of fun Halloween stickers, etc.  The open ends of the bags served as great pockets for fun pictures!  The girls and I had a blast!

Before our next visit together, I need to get my Stampin’ Up! products together so we can make Christmas scrapbooks!100_0949_3
