This past week’s challenge was to create a stamping project that was inspired by something such as a piece of clothing, a patten in a rug, etc. My project was inspired by the shimmer, glimmer, and colors of the holiday season, and in particular this wreath that looks like it’s covered in ice crystals.
The image is "Lady of Winter" by I Brake for Stamps, and the sentiment is by Stampin’ Up!®. I stamped the image in Noir Palette ink; colored it with Prismacolor markers; blended with a blender marker; and everything but the face and hands were covered with Ice Stickles. I cut it out and then sprayed it with Glimmer Mist. The background was done with the direct to paper with Ranger Distress ink. The patterned paper is Figgy Pudding by Basic Grey.
WOW this came out stunning!
great job!! love the shimmer to it!!
