Bloggers Challenge 46 was a Mother’s Day card. I know, I know…Mother’s Day was a week ago…and you may notice that I’m a couple weeks behind on my blogging…but I AM FINALLY catching up!
I didn’t use any stamps on this card either-just some really cool stickers and patterned paper. The base of the card is polka-dotted. I layered with a spring-colored floral graphic pattern. The pink cardstock is SU! and I believe it’s pixie pink. The square florals are stickers, as are the "Mom’s Special Day!" and the "mother" definition.
For embellishments I layered two buttons, one yellow and one pink, and tied them together with a piece of white fiber. I attached them to the card with a foam dimensional, and added a fluffy piece of sparkly green fiber to finish the card.
My two granddaughters gave this card to their mother for a belated Mother’s Day card.
Thanks for looking!
Great Mother’s Day card…so very bright and cheerful. Love your layered button embellishment…very creative.
