I belong to an on-line Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrator group called “SUDSOL” (Simply Unique Demonstrators Sharing On-Line). It’s a wonderful group of ladies who share everything from gorgeous card designs to some great business tips. I am one of the coordinators (technique and on-line class co-coordinator—a position I share with my sister, Nancy).
My three sisters and I were part of the “Dream Team” headed up by fellow SUDSOLer, Ann Clemmers, and we were in charge of our annual SUDSOL Gathering at the 2007 SU!® Convention. We had a great time and enjoyed meeting other SUDSOLers we previously knew only by name. As part of the Gathering, we headed up an ATC swap. An ATC is an artist trading card-it basically is a card front that measures 2 ½” X 3 ½”.
For my swap I used another of our new In-Colors®, Groovy Guava for the base, and layered it with Shimmery White cardstock. I used the stamp set “Heartfelt Thanks©” for all the stamped images, and used Groovy Guava and Wild Wasabi Classic ink. I stamped the “Thanks” stamp on our white vellum cardstock, and tore the edges. I then punched the top two corners using the ticket corner punch, and finished the card off with a piece of Groovy Guava double-stitched ribbon.
I love the new In-Colors, and SU! makes projects like this so easy to create with color coordinated products—inks, cardstock, and embellishments! Plus, with the stamp sets there is no need to run around to all kinds of craft stores trying to find stamps that coordinate with each other!
