I finally got my first set of Christmas cards done. I’m selling sets of cards, etc. on my new blog, Praierie Papier Cottage-my on-line boutique for completed stamping projects as well as alter-ables and other supplies. My startup is getting a slow start because my daughter had surgery last week, and her recovery is slow, so I’m staying with her for several weeks to help care for her and my two granddaughters. I brought a "ton" of my own stamping "stuff" with me (as much as the trunk of the car would hold!), and since she is an avid scrapbooker, I’m pillaging her stash as well.
The card stock is Stampin’ Up!®, the paper is Figgy Pudding by Basic Grey, and the stamped image is from a Christmas set by I Brake for Stamps. I embossed the sentiment with gold, and added a bit of white Fun Flock for a "snowy" effect. The stitched ribbon is Cranberry Crisp, a retired In Color from Stampin’ Up! I love Cranberry Crisp and was sorry it retired.
Della over at IBFS is wonderful to work with, and her stamps are top of the line–deeply etched and detailed! I’m absolutely in love with them!!! Great selection, and right now she has a special on her new sets.
Check out the my boutique from time to time to see if I have any specials or promotions.
Oooh, LOVE this card!!
