Dreams Do Come True!

I couldn't be more excited!  Two of my favorite mixed media artists are offering my dream classes online! 

I've always wanted to be consistent about keeping a sketchbook and to learn to use watercolors; I've tried them several times with not much luck…the properties of watercolor are different than acrylic paint, which is my usual preference.  I love the look of watercolor and sketching done with black lines…now Alisa Burke has announced her newest class, Sketchbook Delight, which begins February 7, and runs through March 7.  It is a five-week format, with one lesson per week.  As always, once you have paid for her workshops, they are available to you forever on a password-protected blog!  Her workshops always include the most inspiring PDFs to print out as well as videos.  You won't want to miss this one as she discusses and teaches keeping a sketchbook…if you're an artist or an aspiring artist, this workshop is a must have!

Next up is another of my favorite artists and friend, Traci Bautista.  I find Traci hugely inspiring.  I love her style which is graffiti-inspired, colorful, and fun!  My two granddaughters are also huge fans of hers, especially Kristen…she and Traci have become friends, and Kristen even painted a one yard piece of muslin last summer to give as a gift to Traci:

Traci is making another of my dream classes come true by offering a class based on her FASHIONista's…fashion-inspired faces fueled by her creative imagination!  Her class will run for six weeks, and begins January 24.  She shares a combination of PDFs to print out and videos as well…her PDFs are always so much fun!  She is currently having a class giveaway that is featured on her blog…so be sure to up over there and leave a comment about either your favorite fashion magazine or your favorite fashion designer…I hope I win!
