This week’s Blogger’s Challenge was to use embellishments such as brads, eyelets, buttons, and hardware. Since "bling" wasn’t mentioned, I decided to go with a distressed look.
Stamps: Looks Like Spring
Card Stock/Paper: Blue Bayou, Wild Wasabi, Basic Grey (patterned paper)
Inks: Chocolate Chip, Blue Bayou, Wild Wasabi
Accessories: Sponge Dauber, Hodgepodge Hardware (Antique Brass), Spiral Punch, Ticket Corner Punch, one of my favorite tools – the Cutter Kit, and Basic Grey buttons and ribbon
Thanks for looking!
Great card…love the colors you chose and the way that you used buttons for your flower centers. Wonderful challenge card.
Wow – That is amazing, Anita. I would nothave thought to put those stamps on a distressed piece, but they work so well!
Love the buttons on the flowers and the colors you chose. I seldom use buttons so it’s nice to see a way in which they can be used.
Luv the distressed look, my kinda’ look.
I’m so glad I finally made it to your blog! Great card for this challenge and so glad that you’ve joined our group!

Lisa-I’m so thrilled to be in the group as well–these challenges really make me think-and that’s not a bad thing! It’s one thing to design a card–totally another to HAVE to stick to the rules!!!
great card!
Claudia
Beautiful–love the distressing and all the details.
Very pretty card…I don’t use my buttons enough…thanks for the encouragement!
Cool card Anita! I love the distressed look. The hodge podge fits right in.
