Bloggers Challenge 39 – Color Combo

This week’s bloggers challenge was a color combo-Blue Bayou, Soft Sky, Chocolate Chip, and Real Red.  So, with this many colors there was only one thing to do-pull out my stash of designer paper!  I just received a "shipment" of the new Cosmo Cricket 8 x 8" paper pads from Jacksonbelle Embellishments, so I pulled those out to see "what would match," and decided on Cogsmo.  The stripes and points in the print reminded me of pencils or crayons, so with my mojo kicking in, I started to play (again, I’d call it "work," but who am I kidding!).

Instead of using Chocolate Chip cardstock, I opted to use ink for this requirement.  The layout is totally new for me-and I resisted the urge to do more distressing than I did.  I also made use of four of my punches, which added some geometric interest as well.
